Each month, we will highlight a member of the local police force on our extensive digital billboard network for their outstanding work in serving and improving our communities.

This month we are proud to spotlight Detective Silver Leuschner!

Detective Silver Leuschner is the type of officer who constantly goes beyond the call of duty. She is an integral part of Savannah Police Department’s mission of protecting, serving and building relationships with the community.
Detective Leuschner started her career on patrol, but due to her work ethic, quickly became a property crimes detective. However, she did not stop there. Using her natural detective instincts and willingness to learn, she quickly progressed to the Aggravated Assault Unit within the Criminal Investigations Division.
Her supervisors describe her as a hard-working team player who always has a smile on her face. They also tout that she is always willing to go the extra mile to accomplish her goals.
Her work on multiple investigations have directly resulted in a suspect being arrested and held accountable for their actions. Her drive and commitment to excellence helps to keep the citizens of the City of Savannah safe.

About the initiative:
Renfroe Outdoor is proud to partner with the Savannah Police Department in an initiative to honor our local heroes. Each month, this program will highlight an outstanding officer in our community chosen by the Savannah PD and recognize them across town with our extensive digital billboard network.
It is of the opinion of the management of Renfroe Outdoor that most media outlets are too eager to cover the wrong stories relating to the police. While all public officials should be held accountable for their actions, there are far more positives that can be said about the local police than the negative. With this program, Renfroe Outdoor hopes to help foster a growing positive relationship between our citizens and the men and women who put themselves in danger to protect them each day.
