Detailed and Dependable - Our November Hero!
Renfroe Outdoor, in conjunction with the Savannah Police Department, is proud to announce our newest honoree in the Savannah Heroes program! Each month, we will highlight a member of the local police force on our extensive digital billboard network for their outstanding work in serving and improving our communities.
This month we are proud to spotlight Detective Constance Hogan!
From the Savannah Police Department:
Detective APO Constance Hogan has been with the Savannah Police Department for four years and currently is assigned to the Family Violence Unit.
According to her supervisor, she is one of the unit’s strongest detectives and has a high case clearance rate. Out of 30 cases she has worked, only four remain open. She has shown herself to be dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, a team player and team multiplier, knowledgeable, and an overall excellent investigator. Detective Hogan goes above and beyond to ensure the safety of domestic violence victims and has an uncanny ability to get the more close-lipped, reluctant victims to open up to her. She is currently embedded in Eastside Precinct as part of Operation Blue Curtain, an initiative to help patrol reduce the number of domestic violence incidents by increasing arrests of offenders. As part of the operation, she conducts training for officers and assists with the warrant process. Detective Hogan is always lending a helping hand to fellow detectives, including assisting with interviews of suspects or victims.
Prior to her assignment in the Family Violence Unit, she was assigned to the Homicide Unit, Aggravated Assault Unit and patrol. In her early days as a patrol officer, she always exhibited a high degree of proficiency and displayed investigatory abilities that led to her role as a detective. Her supervisor said that even early in her law enforcement career she had a unique ability to engage and gain information from citizens and that her documentation far exceeded her peers. “She gets a gold star every day,” he said.

Renfroe Outdoor is proud to partner with the Savannah Police Department in an initiative to honor our local heroes. Each month, this program will highlight an outstanding officer in our community chosen by the Savannah PD and recognize them across town with our digital billboard network.
It is of the opinion of the management of Renfroe Outdoor that most media outlets are too eager to cover the wrong stories relating to the police. While all public officials should be held accountable for their actions, there are far more positives that can be said about the local police than the negative. With this program, Renfroe Outdoor hopes to help foster a growing positive relationship between our citizens and the men and women who put themselves in danger to protect them each day.
